The younger brother of CFSL stalwart and RB-Mount Rushmore staple, Duane Sammons.
While his older sibling was setting records as the only RB to ever win four (4) consecutive rushing titles, Charlie was immersing himself in the most obscure and complex offensive playbooks available. Both a gym rat and a student of the game, Sammons is clearly cut from the same cloth as his HOF-caliber older brother and projects as one of the most sought-after signal callers in the nation.
Charlie spent his teenage years with a sharp eye on the necessary work ethic to achieve stardom, which quickly jettisoned him to the upper tiers of the national high school ranks. Possessing an uncanny ability to read defenses and curb turnovers, this southern product also possesses the agility and acceleration that make him the most dangerous of dual-threat quarterbacks.
With the “game-breaker” label painted on this young upstart since adolescence, this blue-chipper prides himself on being an unflappable leader with ice water and loyalty pouring through his veins. There won’t be a more hardworking player in any locker room in which Sammons enters – the first to the facility, the last to leave. These continuous examples of the Mamba Mentality are the fabric of Sammons’ unquestioned leadership and project to have an immeasurable impact on all future teammates on both sides of the ball.
