Season 7 AD Poll Results

The ADs have been polled this offseason on what they would think would happen in season seven. Here are the results!

BEST OFFSEASON

LSU/FSU – TIE

Both LSU and FSU were tied in the poll among ADs for the best offseason. Both are brand new teams and it makes sense in the terms of talent that they brought in. If you remember correctly, Auburn was the winner of this poll last season. Can LSU or FSU take their momentum from the offseason into the regular season and win it all? We will see.

Not many surprises here as the defending champions, Auburn, and runner-up, USC, take the first two spots. Texas comes in third with the two new teams of FSU and LSU, fourth and fifth. Alabama, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Miami, and Oregon round out the top-10. Any of these teams can fit in any of these slots. The bottom teams, Michigan, Nebraska, Clemson, and Florida can easily fit into the top-10 if things go the right way with their game-planning. The biggest surprise to me is that Clemson is near the bottom after finishing near the top in the past four seasons. Can the new AD turn things around and prove that Clemson still belongs?

BIG 10 WINNER

USC

The Big 10 will have a new winner this season after Ohio State took claim to that title two years in a row. A national championship semifinalist, the Trojans look to continue their hot success after their first year. New Big 10 team, Texas, was next on that list after winning the SEC title twice.

SEC WINNER

AUBURN

Matt Pack has made it to three national title games and has never won the SEC. Well, other ADs think he can get it done this season with Texas moving onto the Big 10. While Auburn has struggled some during the season, this could be the year that the Tigers put everything together. LSU finished a close second as their AD comes from Ohio State with the best regular-season record in history.

SEASON 7 CHAMPIONSHIP WINNER

AUBURN/USC TIE

The majority of the ADs believe that either Auburn or USC will win the championship this season and its a good call. Both teams played each other to the end last season with Auburn becoming victorious. Can Matt Pack and the Tigers be the first team to win two national titles? Or can USC join Clemson as the quickest new school addition to win a title in their second season?
