Generational Talents were introduced into the CFSL in Season 19 and were a force to be reckoned with from the start. In this article, each GT position group will be ranked alone and also ranked against players of the same position while only accounting for stats from this season. Let’s dive in

QBs

  1. Kevin Price– 3667 Passing yards| 70% completion % | 30 TDs-7 INTs| 868 Rushing yards| 13 TDs| 3 Fumbles
  2. Gunner Rice– 2871 Passing yards|75% completion %| 24 TDs-5 INTs| 1136 Rushing yards| 13 TDs| 4 Fumbles
  3. Cole Mantell– 2123 Passing yards| 70 % completion %| 13 TDs-9 INTs| 413 Rushing yards| 6 TDs

The battle between the top 2 GT Quarterbacks was a neck-and-neck race. Price gets the nod with more passing yards, more total TDs, and one less fumble, but 1 and 2 could be flipped in some rankings.

HBs

  1. Taylor James– 918 Rushing yards| 5.4 YPC| 9 rushing TDs| 275 receiving yards| 1 TD
  2. Bo Yost– 833 Rushing yards| 5.5 YPC| 6 rushing TDs| 216 receiving yards

Taylor James had a better statistical season than his counterpart Bo Yost. James had an amazing freshman season rushing for 9 TDs and hauling in 1 through the air.

WRs

  1. Ahmad Williams– 60 rec| 918 receiving yards|10 TD
  2. Ricky Rak– 54 rec| 712 receiving yards| 1 TD|134 pck
  3. Buck Stackhouse– 27 rec| 355 receiving yards| 1 TD

Rankings these receivers was tough because I wasn’t sure how heavy to weigh in pancake blocks. However, Williams gets the top spot in this group having more yards and TDs than Rak and Stackhouse.

DEs

  1. Buck Bolden-33 tck|19 TFL|8 sacks|2 FF
  2. Owen Moreland– 34 tck|12 TFL|7 sacks|1 FR
  3. Jesse Stork– 32 Tck|15 TFL|1 sack|1 FF

As with the wide receiver group, this group was tough to rank. With Bolden having more sacks, TFLs, and 2 FF over Moreland, Bolden will take the top spot among the Defensive unit.

CBs

  1. Theo Markos– 58 tck|3 TFL|6 INTs
  2. Elijah Pence– 51 tck|4 INTs
  3. Tyr Gunderson– 40 tck|2 TFL|3 INTs|1 FR
  4. Roman Ware– 56 tck|2 TFL|1 INT

Last but not least is the Corners. There seemed to be a clear-cut winner among them as Markos looked to be one of the best CBs league-wide and was crucial to the success of Oregon and helping them make a run in the playoffs.

With every group having their number 1 in their respective positions, please note that some players might play in multiple positions but I based it off of what they are listed at on the website. Every player here had key moments throughout the season to help their teams find success in different areas. Will we see a new player reach the top and could it be a new GT next season?
