First off, congratulations to all the All-Americans one more time.
This was an All-American team that was dominated by first-time winners. Only two players on this team have won an All-American before. This was the third consecutive All-American award for Colorado HB Taylor James. This was the second consecutive All-American award for Texas LB Brandon Chen. Both of them were seniors in Season 23.
The leader in total All-Americans by team are the Texas Longhorns and the Miami Hurricanes, who both have three. Alabama, Texas A&M, Iowa, and Oregon all had two All-Americans this season.
The conference with the most All-Americans this season was the Big XII, with seven. The Big10 had six, which was the second most. Both the ACC and the SEC had four All-Americans each.
