Each week we will be interviewing one or two coaches so that you can get to know them, their thoughts on the league, their thoughts on their team, and other random facts that you may not know.
This week we are sitting down with the reigning champion Athletic Director of Notre Dame, Wookie. Note Dame is ranked in the top ten in the league and minus a hiccup with Florida State has shown that they are ready to make another title run. Easily ranked in the top ten is the Notre Dame defense. There are a lot of big names on their defense including Rev LeBoucher, Drew Brandt, and Leo Guerrero. The Fighting Irish offense is still trying to find its way a little bit. Junior signal-caller KyShawn Williams has played very well. He is throwing to a young receiver corps that they feel will eventually be the envy of the league.

Q. What would you say is the current state of the CFSL?
A. The best it’s ever been, the talent parity is unreal.
Q. If you could implement one CFSL change, what would it be (purely hypothetical)?
A. Two words, Conference championships.
Q. How do you feel about the beginning of your season so far?
A. Feeling great, a lot of work left to be done but we’re feeling good at this point.
Q. What teams in your schedule have you worried?
A. Wisconsin
Q. Outside of your rival, who is left on your schedule are you excited to play?
A. I am really excited to play Michigan next week, I think it will be a great test for both teams.
Q. What will it take for you to consider this season a success?
A. The 3peat.
Q. Who are three names everyone should know from your squad?
A. Jase Nicklebury, Conor Cummings, and Drew Brandt
Q. Who is the funniest person in the locker room?
A. Probably Rev, he’s always goofing.
Q. Defense or Offense, why?
A. Defense, it’s my heart and the backbone of this team.
Q. Why are you in the CFSL?
A. Man, it’s gotta be an amazing culture that Mike has built. I love the friendships that have been made here and it’s been an amazing experience!
Next, we have the Athletic Director from The Ohio State Buckeyes, Jeff, in the hot seat. OSU is currently unranked and took a loss from an improving Fighting Irish Squad. While the loss did hurt, the Buckeyes are not going to give up their season without a fight. While they are 0 – 3, with only 1 of their losses being a conference loss. They still have a chance to turn it around. The coaching staff will need to find a way to get Elite Quarterback Logan Radloff to move the ball to his many star-studded targets. It all starts with getting him protected in the pocket. Radloff has endured 18 sacks in just three games. Look for Ohio State to correct that problem quickly.

A. Unpredictable.

A. Potentially upping some penalty sliders
Q. How do you feel about the beginning of your season so far?
A. It’s been awesome. 0-3 babyyyyyy!!!! It’s been a tough start and getting OU, Kentucky, and ND in 3 games is a murders row.
Q. What teams in your schedule have you worried?
A. No one should after our first 3 games.
Q. Outside of your rival, who is left on your schedule are you excited to play?
A. Boise State, Washington, Iowa, Wisconsin.
Q. What will it take for you to consider this season a success?
A. Getting a win.

A. Holstick, Trey Woodard, Paul Hayes II
Q. Who is the funniest person in the locker room?
A. IceTray
Q. Defense or Offense, why?
A. Defense. I came from an offensive system. I had to work with defense and last season was a testament to that work.
Q. Why are you in the CFSL?
A. I joined back in season 2 offseason going into season 3. I saw a video a former player posted on their Twitter, and I love college football. So, I joined, and the rest is history.
