The 60s were another easy group to sort through. Similar to the ’70s list, not many players wore these numbers. The only difference between the two lists is that the 60s are missing a number. Let’s dive into numbers 69-60 and see who wore them best!

#69 – Blake Savage

Defensive Tackle Blake Savage played his entire three-season career at Miami. Savage had a knack for causing turnovers; he has the fourth-most forced fumbles in Miami’s history. Blake finished his twenty-seven-game career with 83 tackles, 32 tackles for loss, 19 sacks, 2 pass deflections, 4 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, and 1 touchdown.

#68 – Kyle Payne

Missouri DE Kyle Payne ripped Moreland down for a sack.

Payne spent four seasons at Missouri, playing the defensive end position. Kyle is one of the best defensive linemen to ever play at Missouri. He has the most tackles for loss, the most sacks, tied for most fumble recoveries, and has the fifth most tackles in the program’s history. He also has the second, third, and fourth-best sack total in a season for the school.

#67 – Never Worn

#66 – Freddy Tramel Jr

Michigan LB Freddy Tramel Jr laid the big hit to force a fumble.

Middle Linebacker Freddy Tramel Jr spent his first two seasons at Eastern Michigan, his third season at Missouri, and his final two at Michigan. He finished his 32-game career with 275 tackles, 52 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, 1 interception, 4 pass deflections, and 5 forced fumbles.

#65 – Bill McAllister

Bill McAllister spent his entire career at Clemson helping them to win a National Championship in Season 8. He earned a Defensive Line All-American nod in Season 7.  During his time at Clemson, McAllister had 56 tackles for loss and 27 sacks from his defensive tackle position, giving him the third most all-time at Clemson for both.

#64 – Tee Boozer

Outside linebacker Tee Boozer was a four-year player at Boise St. At Boise St, Boozer accounted for 308 tackles (second in school history), 57 tackles for loss (tied for fourth most in school history), and 3 fumble recoveries (third most in school history).

#63 – Daniel Winston

Winston wore 63 for his first two seasons at Michigan, then switched numbers for his final two seasons at Miami. Winston has 58 yards gained on fumble recoveries, which is the fourth most in Miami’s history. He finished his career with 81 tackles, 48 tackles for loss, 24 sacks, 1 fumble recovery, and 1 touchdown.

#62 – Evan McDuffy

Current sophomore, four-star defensive tackle Evan McDuffy played his freshman season at Cincinnati and will be playing at Ohio State in Season 21. In his one year at Cincinnati, he still has the fourth most sacks in school history. It is early in McDuffy’s playing career, but the future is bright for him.

#61 – Bethany Moreland

Oklahoma State DE Bethany Moreland flew around the edge for the sack on Friedman.

Defensive End Bethany Morland played her first three seasons at Oklahoma State where she helped them to a National Championship in Season 17. Her final year at LSU where she was named a Defensive Line All-American. She has the sixth-best single-season tackles-for-loss record in the Modern Era and holds the top spot for most tackles for loss in a single game during the Modern Era.  

#60 – Fetu Apatu

Apatu spent his first season at Florida and his final three at Auburn. He finished his 34-game career with 90 tackles, 35 tackles for loss, 19 sacks, 1 pass deflection, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery.
