Our pickers normally have a difficult time picking the opening week, and Season 23 was no different. Before we get into the picks, let’s look at the standings so far this season.
Rank | Picker | Week 1 Record |
1 | Horns | 8-4 |
2 | Cole | 7-5 |
3 | Grin | 6-6 |
3 | Jeff | 6-6 |
3 | Ryan | 6-6 |
6 | Kade | 5-7 |
6 | Murph | 5-7 |
6 | Ware | 5-7 |
Horns jumped out to a nice lead after just one week. And he did it in the worst overall week the pickers have ever had. Let’s see if Horns will keep his top spot and if the group as a whole gets better in Week 2. Here are the picks.

Last week, the only lone wolf pick that hit belonged to Murph, who picked Miami to beat Texas A&M. This week, he is back with more lone wolves. He is the only person who took West Virginia and LSU. Jeff also stood on his own with the pick of Nebraska to upset Tennessee. We will see if these picks will pay off.
Best of luck to all 24 teams this week.
