Week 3: Penn state vs. Notre Dame Preview

Penn State heads to South Bend to end week three. Notre Dame comes into the matchup at 1-1 while Penn State is 0-2. Notre Dame is 2-0 all-time against the Nittany Lions and the team from Happy Valley will look to not only change that but also pick up their first win on the year.

 

Penn State

 

The Nittany Lions are led by their star tandem of QB Walker Mills and RB Robert Davis. The duo averages almost 200 yards rushing a game and are a big problem to deal with. While Walker Mills isn’t known for throwing the ball he the weapons too. Between WR Ronald Fields, TE Robert Gomez, WR Dee Kendrick, and WR William Craft.

 

On the the other side of the ball Penn State is led by S Aiden Berry. He is joined by corners Harper Allen, Winston Schmidt, and Justin Jones. DT Drew Ekstrum holds down the middle

 

Notre Dame

 

The Fighting Irish RB Joe Pantoja is a force to be reckoned with. The star Running back has been a huge difference maker for them along with QB Leo Asiata. His weapons include TE Alistair Kye, WR Albert Saenz, WR Thaddeus Jefferson, and WR Ryan Hughes.

 

Tyrell Solo is one of the premier Corner Backs in the CFSL. DE Shane Razorback is one of the best at getting off the edge and to the QB Jackson Stone holds down the other corner spot for this defense and Micheal Jerome-Pluth and Zeus Williams lock down the safety spots.

 

What to Whatch fOr

 

Walker Mills versus Shane Razorback is going to be the deciding factor of this game. If Shane Razorback is able to stop Mills in both the passing game and the read option expect Notre Dame to leave victorious.
