85 Mikael Kane

Mikael Kane was the kind of person you stayed away from in High School, and the kind you avoided in a dark alley as much as possible. With his large frame and overwhelming demeanor, it was very clear that Kane was going to be a force to be reckoned with regardless of which sport he decided to play. Unfortunately for everyone else, he decided that football was going to be his game. With his large stature and persona, his coach immediately put him at Wide Receiver, as he would look down on opposing Cornerbacks and grin as he saw them looking up at him nervously. Now entering college as one of the top High School prospects from North Carolina, Kane’s senior season statistics were as follows: Through 16 games (including playoffs), he had 80 catches for 1,456 yards and 19 TD’s, 17 rushes for 106 yards and 4 TD’s, 44 pancakes, and helped lead his team to a state championship as a team captain. During his post championship interview with ESPN2, when asked about which college he had in mind, Kane simply said “Does it matter? We’re gonna win another one of these wherever I end up.” This will be an interesting player to watch, I know I will be keeping an eye on him.
