Born in Rhode Island of a family of 3. He lost his dad in a accident and moved to Texas, Haltom City. His mother wanted him to do something productive so he joined football his sophomore year. The Haltom Buffaloes were in a hard district and needed players. His raw talent was good enough for him to be varsity but only backup and play if they were losing badly. His junior year he was more developed and able to start. He was a decent player at best until mid way through the season where he had a scare with his mother’s health suddenly declining. He started taking frustration out on the field and it allowed him to get a honorable mention for his district. His senior year he boomed and got 1st team all district recording 16 sacks, and 90 ToTs.
