Coming from Southside Richmond, Virginia where football is not as big as most states. Devonte has made a name for himself with his hard work, dedication, and will to win. Coming from humble beginnings he understood that family is most important, he’s always team first over stats. He’s a leader and competitive person in anything he does. Graduating from Huguenot high school Coach McFadden said he’s the most coachable player he has worked with and he has also stayed after practice to help game plan for teams.
