While growing up in after growing up Northwest Arizona, Wetzel attended a specialized football boarding academy in Nevada, where he practiced often with the nation’s top prospects and would often receive specialized coaching from some local NFL coaches. When he was at home in Meadview, he would complete conditioning exercises around the town by hiking and would often assist in rescue missions around Lake Mead and the Grand Canyon. Wetzel plans to contribute to the CFSL just as he did during his many desert rescue missions.
