Born and raised in Galveston, TX, by a single mother, Travis found a love for football at a young age. Travis originally played running back, but was moved to Safety in High School, where he tallied up 29 interceptions, 8 forced fumbles, and 123 tackles in his high school career. He is a Top 5 safety in Texas for the recruiting process, but is a 3 star. After his Junior season, his grandfather, whom he was close with, died shortly after a loss in the state quarterfinals. His final encounter with his grandfather was eating a Popeyes 5 piece signature chicken with Cajun fries and a Pepsi. He battled depression for 4 months, before regaining his love for the game of football with help of family and friends, and In his Senior Season, he went beast mode, and helped his team win the State title. Now, he hopes to play college ball. Heβd love to stay down south, but would love the opportunity to play and improve himself as a player and a person on the field, and to show the world that he is ready for the challenge, and will dominate the competition.
