Roman Pushkin is a rising star in high school football from Moscow Russia but moved to Brighton Beach, Brooklyn. The 17-year-old senior is a standout shutdown cornerback for Abraham Lincoln High School’s Railsplitters.
Born to Russian immigrant parents, Pushkin discovered his passion for football in middle school. His exceptional speed, strength, and tactical understanding of the game quickly made him a formidable presence on the field.
At 6’2″ and 195 pounds, Pushkin combines size with surprising agility. He led the city in interceptions and defensive touchdowns last season and was named to the All-City team. College scouts have taken notice, with several Division I programs expressing interest.
Off the field, Pushkin maintains a 3.8 GPA and volunteers at a local youth center, teaching kids about football and fitness. He hopes to play college football while pursuing a degree in sports medicine.
