Kirby hails from the Foggy Bottom area of Washington, D.C. where he and his Cardozo High teammates went 1-8 a season ago, including getting shut out 3 times. You could say there were some foggy bottoms in that locker room.
While Kirby hasn’t had the best coaches and is considered “fat” for his height (6-1,245), he was a 3-sport athlete (the other two teams equally unsuccessful). So, he has drive if nothing else.
Kirby is hoping to land somewhere his warm heart can be happy.
He likes apple pie, roller blades and long walks on the shore with his inbred mutt Pablo.
