Tristin Wolfe is a hidden gem in the explosive offense of Riverside High School in Belle, West Virgina. Wolfe was a 4 year starter along side his brother Ty Wolfe, but was highly overshadowed due to the explosiveness of the offense. When Ty wasn’t making deep pass plays, Tristin was highly efficient in his roll as a highly touted speed back. Although he did not break records like his brother, he still saw season high rushing yards compared to other half backs in the state. As a freshmen, Tristin was able to accumulate 1113 rushing yards and was widely used on the goal line amassing 20 TDs. Sophomore year he was able to surpass his freshmen season rushing yards with 1303 rushing yards and 27 TDs, once again being heavily used in goal line situations. And this trend also continued into his junior (1550 yards and 30 TDs) and senior (1715 yards and 35 TDs) seasons. Tristin ended his high school career as a 4 time state champion and 4 time all state player.
Just like Ty, Tristin jumped onto the national recruiting scene after attending elite national camps. At one Nike league event. Tristin broke Ron Dayne Jr’s Nike record combine score. At a Texas invite only camp, Tristin went viral after breaking Texas greats Jimbo Smithers ankles on a HB counter where Tristin ended up scoring on a 75 yard run.
Don’t let the other Wolfe twin overshadow Tristin. Tristin will make an immediate impact on any D1 team that picks him up.
