Never the biggest or the fastest, Hayden had to find other ways of differentiating his play from the more athletically talented players. He decided that the way to be the best receiver was to always get open and never drop passes. He lead the state with fewest drops and most red zone touchdowns for three straight years at Crossville High School being honored as an All State selection the final two. Family was shocked to see him say he would consider playing anywhere besides Auburn, his favorite team. Says he wants to see the world, and that starts with college. Will not be out worked on or off the field.
