He grew up in a poor family and never hear of Football until he was 14. When he first played he immediately fell in love though he could not play for his Highschool so he started playing for a club team. He played for that club until he was 17 which he then devoted all his time to the IFAF U19 Mexico team. He worked and worked and the year before he could go to college he won the IFAF U19 world championship.
