Born in Charlotte North Carolina and graduated from Marvin Ridge High School set school record in Tackles and Tackles for Loss. Voted All-American Junior and Senior year and voted to be Team Captain Sophomore-Senior year. Tyrell is also a wrestler in the off-season winning the state championship at his weight class but still chose to play football over wrestling. Even though he gets recognized for his athletic abilities he tries his best to be great in the classroom too getting Valedictorian his Senior year.
