Benny was born in Schenectady, NY but played high school football in Massapequa, an unincorporated community in Oyster Bay, NY. Benny’s family started out with modest beginnings and Benny was often the target of hazing in school. Benny took to fighting as a way to combat the hazing and this increased when we wound up on Long Island during high school.
The fights toughened Benny up, however, and he learned to channel his aggression into sports. Benny started out as a tight end early in high school as well as playing defenseman on the school’s hockey team. However, Benny loved working out and eating and he was always concerned with “getting big”. He quickly out grew his ability to play hockey which was a prelude to him moving from tight end to defensive tackle on the varsity squad.
There are rumors that Benny weighed as much as 350 pounds during high school as he became one of the country’s best nose guards. He also moonlighted as the team’s fullback on goal line offensive formations routinely plowing holes for the team’s running backs and even scoring a few touchdowns himself.
Now Benny, who is rumored to have once set a goal of participating in 500 fights to develop the “leather skin” needed to be a legitimate tough guy, sets his sights on the CFSL and becoming one of the most dominant, and feared, players in the game. Rumors are he is interested in working primarily as a fullback so he can “bully” opposing defenses into submission.
