James Freeman was a highly touted 2 sport athlete, who graduated from Sevier county high school early to pursue a semi professional Hockey career in Canada. In his 1st and only season with the Tri-City Americans, he lead them to a CHL Memorial Cup win with MVP honors. He ended up getting drafted by the Seattle Krakens 2nd overall. After he made a official visit to Norte Dame to watch his older brother play and fell in love with the College Atmosphere. And didn’t sign a contract with Seattle. He was a Standout two way athlete receiving both offensive and defensive All-America honors. But ended up choosing to run with the offense in college.
