Sam “Bam” Dobbins is the middle child of former CFSL All-American Cory Dobbins. Sam has grown up with a strong Church of God background. He gives God all the glory for all he has accomplished up to this point. Sam is heard often quoting Romans 8:31, If God is for us, who could be against us.
Sam excels with the ball in his hands. He played a little of everything for the Brahmans at Okeechobee High School in a single wing offense. He is a bruiser of a back with a powerful running style and deceptive speed. Coach Ty Smith described his skill set as this:
“He is our best player at every facet of the game run, catch, block, tackle, return kicks doesn’t matter. Oh and he can pass too. Sam is a true do it all athlete with tremendous leadership traits. He will give the pre-game speech, pray in the Spirit, and then go out and rack up yards and TDs. I have never seen anything like him”
