Killian “Mother” Dunn grew up on a small sugarcane farm on the outskirts of Laie Hawaii on the island of Oahu. The middle child of 13 children, he grew up fending for himself and caring for his younger siblings. His only escape his life of responsibility and neglect was his love of American Football.
His school, Kahuku high and intermediate school, barely had enough funding for equipment to properly dress the team let alone properly trained coaches. However he and his Red Raider teammates were a force to be reckoned with, winning back to back Hawaii state championships. Killian carried the team literally on his back for the better part of his junior and senior seasons accumulating 2730 yards on 243 carries and accounting for 48 touchdowns on offense and 7 kick returns for touchdowns.
Physically stronger, mentally tougher, and more driven than any other player he has come across, he strives everyday to be given a chance to prove himself outside of his small hometown and island and to create a better life for himself and his family in Laie.
