Growing up, Brandon always dreamt of playing wide receiver. He invested much of his time running routes, and playing catch with a lot of his friends and family. His freshman year of high school he finally got his shot to try out for the high school team, and after practice the coach called him over and told him something he’ll never forget.
“Are you homeless? I can’t imagine the amount of money your parents have spent on butter that you so clearly rub on your hands before you play. I’ve never seen anybody drop the ball as much as you, it’s pathetic. However, I must say, you are as swift as Timon and Pumba running away from the hyenas in Lion King. Have you ever considered playing CB?”
From that day on, he was a starter on the defense. His senior season he caught a world-record shattering 3,397 interceptions, and returned every last one of them for a touchdown while leading his team to the 5th state championship of his 4 year high school career. After all the money he got signing autographs, he invested in some gloves that are as sticky as duct tape so he can catch the occasional interception. Brandon would love to play for a great school that has potential to win a national championship, and wouldn’t be opposed to switching back to wide receiver if needed. Don’t miss out on this 6 star recruit.
