Colby Ray grew up on a cattle ranch in Montana. He started bull riding at an early age and eventually joined the Junior Bull Riding division. As a Freshman in High School, Colby Ray got into a lot of fights as he didnt really seem to fit in with the rest of the kids. One day the Varsity football coach caught Colby Ray making a clean tackle on someone during a fight and told him to come play some football to help channel his anger. Since that day, Colby Ray played as a SS, OLB, and even got some reps in as a HB. Now, Colby Ray still loves to bull ride and was a projected to be a top 20 in the PBR. However, Colby Ray loves to hit people and this has been his way of unleashing pain without getting into trouble. Colby Ray was able to set numerous school and district records with tackles and forced fumbles and is looking forward to unleashing that same brutality at the next level.
