Growing up in Ivano-Frankivst in western Ukraine, Oleksandr was a big soccer fan. He was a star from a young age and had many pro teams looking at him including Dynamo Kyiv and Shakhtar Donetsk. He ultimately choose Shakhtar Donetsk, and while the backdrop of the Russian envision of Ukraine he continue to help lead the squad to a UEFA birth. Now, after turning down a promising soccer career, Oleksandr is choosing American Football as a kicker after colleges found a goal he scored last season and have been trying to court him to their school.
