Bass is well known in southeastern Michigan, despite coming from an extremely small town. Growing up in a, surprise, grape farming family, Bass developed strong hands and legs. Bass doubled as a pitcher in high school, being a guy who could strikeout anyone but just could not control his pitches and decided to go full time for football. The joke with Bass is that he locks down receivers so well that they look like a fish out of water on the field.
Just don’t ask him to tackle.
