Arthur Hanna was an army brat, traveling the country with his family. While his father dealt with his military career, his mother was the conduit that allowed him to LIVE the game of football. No matter where they moved, she found the little leagues, the pop warner team, the indoor flag team, whatever she could come up with. Being always on the move, it was hard to establish a base and commit to one team, but Arthur always left his mark and was always the talk of the neighborhood or on the playground whenever they found themselves in a new home.
Arthur has always played both sides of the ball, wide out and safety. In his final two years of high school, he made the decision to focus on one and ultimately decided he wanted to be the man catching TDs every game. After a successful and record-breaking season for his school in his junior year, Arthur went into his Senior year as a top prospect. Invited to the Army All-American bowl in his senior year, Hanna struggled to decide on where to go. His mother, being an Ohio State soccer star and alum definitely would have some influence on where he wound up.
