An underweight freshman at Vero Beach Highschool Zeus Banks sat at 5″9 138 pounds and was forced by his coach to be a slot WR where he was unable to find the field even when running reps with the JV. Heading into his sophomore year he decided he wanted something different so he hit the weight room HARD. With the help of a growth spurt he jumped from 5″9 138 all the way up to 6″2 225. He played the next season as a pure edge rusher where he record 37 tackles 8 TFL and 4 sacks while lead his school to the playoffs for the first time in 27 years. He then found a great opportunity to transfer to IMG Academy where he moved to OLB and over the next 2 years he posted a total of 194 tackles 53 TFL and 24 sacks. He now sits at 6″4 250 and runs a 4.51 40 yard dash. Zeus is excited to find his new home and says he ready to beat any competition from senior to freshman.
